Despite the increasing integration of technology in classrooms, educators still face several persistent pain points:
Administrative overload: Lesson planning, assessment creation, and curriculum mapping consume time that could be spent teaching.
Lack of localization: Most digital tools are built generically and don’t support multilingual or culturally relevant content.
Tool fatigue: Teachers juggle multiple apps for different tasks, leading to friction, confusion, and burnout.
Limited access to research support: Educators and researchers lack tools that can generate meaningful insights or aid academic writing.
The challenge was clear: design a unified, inclusive platform that is powerful enough for institutions but intuitive enough for the everyday teacher.
Research Methodology:
Given the global and diverse nature of the users, I adopted a mixed-method research approach focused on real classroom experiences:
User Interviews: Spoke with 15+ educators from primary to tertiary levels across different regions in Nigeria.
Surveys: Collected feedback from over 100 teachers and academic support staff to identify top pain points
Competitor Benchmarking: Analyzed tools like ChatGPT in education, Notion, and Canva for Education to find gaps in user experience
